Forest Campus reimagines a Forestry Culture Park as a boundless forest kindergarten that reconnects education with the natural world. This design responds to the limitations of discipline-oriented Eastern education systems, which often suppress children’s natural curiosity and initiative. Rather than rigid instruction, education here is conceived as gentle guidance—where learning unfolds organically through play, hands-on experiences, and meaningful interaction with space and daily life.
By dissolving the boundaries between indoor and outdoor environments, opening up classrooms, and removing physical and perceptual fences, the campus fosters an atmosphere of freedom and exploration. Neutral white spaces serve as blank canvases for imagination, while the surrounding forest becomes an extension of the learning environment. Here, children are encouraged to touch, observe, question, and create—learning not from screens, but from the rustling leaves, the textures of bark, and the rhythms of nature.
This approach champions innovation and thought without boundaries. It invites children to step away from excessive screen time and rediscover the richness of the physical world. At the same time, the project breathes new life into the forestry site by weaving together ecological stewardship, cultural heritage, and a child-centered philosophy of learning. Forest Campus is not just a place to learn—it is a place to wonder, explore, and grow.
