WHY NOT FLY?

Our project proposes to maintain the trees, which meant not being able to touch the roots or dig, so we decided to FLY. Thus, we achieved a double objective, respecting the existing pine trees and getting a magnificent green 'garden' (without water cost) as are the tops of the pines. A garden and views without the need for maintenance, nature manages it in exchange for not disturbing it.

The challenge now was to achieve a comfortable, respectful, private and flying house; therefore, the right level of access was sought to gain privacy from the street and to reach the top of the pine trees on the opposite side.

In order to maintain all the pine trees, the floor plan of the house is adapted to the gaps that they 'leave', so we find a house 'perforated' on the ground floor where the rooms fly, come together, separate... all in an organic way and fully integrated into the surrounding nature, thanks to large sliding glass facades from floor to ceiling that help us to blur the concept inside-outside, going on to LIVE A WHOLE WITH THE ENVIRONMENT.

Sadly in the area and in the architectural sector we work in, major land modifications and a lack of indigenous trees are prevalent. We hope that this project will help to understand the need for luxury housing to be even more environmentally friendly and thus help to set the trend and help to respect nature.
