Floating Nest is a cinematic yet intimate residence designed for a single male homeowner seeking a sanctuary that merges refined luxury with personal expression. The design draws inspiration from the concept of suspension, where light, materials, and space appear to hover, creating an atmosphere that is both weightless and grounded.

The palette of brushed metal, natural stone, stone veneer, and mirrors was carefully curated for its tactile depth and its ability to interact with light. Each surface transforms as daylight shifts, revealing new dimensions of texture and reflection. From the foyer, an illuminated translucent stone panel casts a soft, inviting glow, while brushed metal cabinetry establishes an elegant industrial tone. Subtle LED accents are integrated throughout to create visual pathways that guide movement and enhance the perception of spatial flow.

Spatial planning emphasizes openness and verticality. Mirrored ceilings extend perceived height, while light, both natural and artificial, flows seamlessly between zones to enhance spatial continuity.
