KASASHIMA GALLERY, located in Osaka, Japan, participated in the "Art Shopping - Salon International d'Art Contemporain" art exhibition held in the Carrousel Hall of the Louvre Museum in Paris, France from April 4 to April 6, 2025. The exhibition's theme is "La Beauté dans Chaque Éventail" . The booth design embraces the Japanese aesthetic of simplicity and subtlety, featuring an all-white backdrop that beautifully showcases the precisely arranged Japanese handcrafted folding fan artworks.

KASASHIMA GALLERY invited 20 East Asian artists to create works that combined the more than 180 years of handmade fan workshops in Kyoto, Japan to create exquisite works of art. These beautifully crafted objects are made from Japanese bamboo and paper and are created by skilled artisans. It not only has superficial charm, but also has oriental charm in terms of artistic value, material, style, and daily life.

In a minimalist space, each folding fan showcases the cultural artistry of China and Japan—calligraphy, painting, poetry, and seal carving. These artistic creations are exquisitely rendered on the fan's surface, echoing the rhythm, harmony, and philosophy inherent in the brushwork. The exhibition embodies the traditional Japanese aesthetic of Zen, characterized by its rigorous structure and refined simplicity. This creates a dialogue where both cultures coexist harmoniously, a harmony evident in every displayed piece.

These artistic creations have been reported by media in dozens of countries including Asia, North America, Latin America, and Europe. The works on display merge the elegance of Chinese ink art with the craftsmanship of Japanese Kyo folding fans, not only showing the results of cross-cultural collaboration but also offering visitors a fresh perspective on the fusion of Eastern cultures.
