Exploring the symbiosis of urban, community, and commercial spaces, open to the community and interacting with nature.
Our concept is inspired by The Commons' approach to commerce, first creating a community and then a shopping mall. The design revolves around the theme of a "Smile Life Block." By showcasing the building as a landmark, integrating diverse functions, enhancing the memory points of the neighborhood center, meeting the living needs of local residents, and improving residential convenience. Unlike traditional shopping malls, here we offer not only healthy and diverse lifestyle choices but also create a warm atmosphere akin to home. We provide interactive spaces for people to share and communicate. In addition to the physical spaces provided by the buildings, through highly engaging public activities, we effectively strengthen the sense of connection between people and the environment, showcasing people's desired lifestyle preferences through a higher level of community consciousness.
The project follows a design vision to enrich the spatial forms of Shijie, create a new city landmark, and build a high-quality model for a quality lifestyle. It aims to construct a stylish, distinctive, and meaningful urban landmark that aligns with Xuhui's core product philosophy of "freedom, passion, and dreams."
The entire site includes residential areas, community commerce, and office buildings, forming an integrated complex that combines residential, commercial, and office functions. The experiential area is located in the southeast corner of the site, serving as the best showcase location and entrance for commercial activities. Adjacent to the city's main road, it becomes a natural incubator for public vitality, with tremendous potential. From the perspective of the community, it is the central hub of future community life and a zone for creating living scenes. Through the creation of a commercial street on the south side, it triggers neighborhood activities within the entire community and improves neighborly relationships. From the perspective of the city, it serves as the gateway for people to interact with the city, radiating the entire block. It allows future residents to experience the commercial atmosphere of the community in advance.
