Guided by a transit-oriented development model, the project redefines the podium floor as a vibrant extension of daily life rather than a residual or transitional space. Conceived under the concept of “All-Age Sharing · A Breathable Community,” the design transforms the podium level into a communal “second living room” that supports intergenerational interaction, emotional connection, and everyday well-being.

The spatial strategy emphasizes openness, flexibility, and inclusiveness. By carefully organizing functional zones, the design accommodates diverse activities while maintaining visual continuity and spatial fluidity. Three integrated zones—Children’s Paradise, Active Sports, and Elegant Leisure—respond to the needs of different age groups, encouraging both independent use and shared participation. Together, they create a dynamic yet balanced community environment that feels alive and welcoming throughout the day.

Children’s spaces are designed as immersive learning and play environments. Soft materials, vivid colors, and interactive installations such as bubble pools, slides, world maps, creative blackboard walls, and science-based pipeline games stimulate physical activity, curiosity, creativity, and cognitive development. An after-school learning area inspired by traditional Chinese culture introduces elements of nature and classical aesthetics, fostering calmness, focus, and cultural awareness alongside modern educational functions.

Adult-oriented spaces prioritize social interaction, relaxation, and mental balance. The billiards and mahjong areas reinterpret traditional leisure activities through a contemporary design language, blending modern simplicity with subtle Eastern elegance. Color, light, and material contrasts are carefully balanced to create spaces that support both lively interaction and composed enjoyment. Quiet resting areas and a multifunctional zone provide settings for informal gatherings, community events, and moments of reflection.

Through thoughtful functional planning and refined detailing, the podium floor evolves into a core community space that nurtures social vitality, strengthens neighborhood bonds, and enhances residents’ sense of belonging. More than a physical environment, it becomes a warm container for shared memories, cultural exchange, and a sustainable community lifestyle.
