Genuine Minzui

Situated within a newly redeveloped district, the project symbolizes the renewal of the urban landscape and the evolving aesthetics of a new generation. Surrounded by office buildings, this purely residential development seeks to establish a distinct sense of belonging, one that stands apart from its context. The design concept adopts a cyberpunk aesthetic as its outer shell, while embedding natural elements at its core, creating a residential landscape that is both futuristic and grounded—an anomaly in the heart of the urban jungle.

The striking curved orange-red lightbox on the rooftop is at the forefront of its cyberpunk image, a visual icon that echoes the nearby elevated railway lines. At night, it pulses like a living flame—breathing, glowing, and moving with the rhythm of the city skyline.

Inside, the design team takes advantage of the building’s generous ceiling height, weaving linear lighting, water-rippled stone textures, and refined material contrasts to soften the cool futurism and infuse a sense of warmth, redefining comfort in urban living.

Greenery also plays a central role. Upon entering, residents are greeted by a wide spread of low, lush shrubbery, offering a layered natural presence that subtly transforms the everyday atmosphere. With its fusion of futuristic look and organic sensibility, this project allows its residents to rediscover comfort and serenity within the city’s ever-shifting lights and shadows.
