LOHO SEASONS

As the flagship residential development in Shijiazhuang’s Longquan Lake Area, Plot 55 plays a pivotal role in balancing ecological conservation with high-end living. Drawing inspiration from the region’s natural textures and cultural heritage, the design embraces the philosophy of “seeing the mountains, gazing upon the waters, and remembering the nostalgia of hometown,” translating the symbolism of “mountains embracing waters” into a contemporary spatial narrative. Guided by the concept of the traditional landscape painting scroll and the garden principle of “scenes changing with every step,” the design constructs a layered progression from urban interface to natural hinterland, integrating minimalist aesthetics to reflect both cultural depth and modern sensibility. Faced with a 12-meter elevation difference, the design team implemented an innovative “three-dimensional landscape weaving” strategy, transforming terrain into terraced planting theaters with seasonal flora, ecological gradients with native vines and rustic groves, and multifunctional vertical wall systems that integrate water and vegetation into sculptural living installations. The landscape serves as a “living vessel” for regional memory, enriched by immersive spatial experiences such as a ceremonial arrival court with cascading waterfalls, intelligent concierge lobbies, water gardens paired with leisure lounges, and multigenerational play zones. Through comprehensive stormwater management, 80% native plant coverage, and carbon-reducing infrastructure such as green roofs and permeable paving, the project exceeds China’s urban residential planning standards, establishing a replicable benchmark for resilient, low-carbon communities.
