A Private Oasis

A Private Oasis is a residential landscape project in Brasília conceived as a transition from the intensity of urban life to the comfort and intimacy of home. The main intention was to create a landscape capable of welcoming the residents from the moment they arrive, allowing them to leave the city behind and enter a private refuge surrounded by nature.



The garden embraces the architecture through a composition of mature palms, sculptural trees, layered planting, expansive lawns and carefully designed pathways. Vegetation was positioned to soften the scale of the residence, frame its main architectural elements and establish a continuous relationship between indoor and outdoor spaces.



Rather than functioning as a decorative setting, the landscape organizes the experience of the property. Different garden areas create moments of arrival, contemplation, circulation and gathering, while pergolas, shaded spaces and water elements reinforce the sense of comfort and permanence.



At night, integrated lighting reveals the structure of the vegetation, highlights the movement of trunks and canopies, and creates a warm atmosphere around the residence. The result is A Private Oasis: an immersive and welcoming landscape where architecture and nature come together to create a genuine sense of retreat, belonging and home.
