A Modern Temple of Rebirth
This project is conceived as a contemporary wellness and hospitality environment that transforms the spiritual rebirth ritual of Ancient Egypt into a modern spatial experience. At its core lies a four-stage journey of NUN, KA, RA and MAAT: purification through water, awakening through breath, illumination through light, and rebirth through balance.
Rather than simply moving guests from one space to another, the architecture turns the journey itself into an experience. Beginning with water, the sequence continues through open courtyards and breathing spaces, while light and shadow establish the rhythm of the architecture. The journey ultimately concludes in spaces of silence, meditation and balance.
The axial organization, courtyard typology, monumental character of stone, and light-guided orientation found in Ancient Egyptian temples are reinterpreted through a contemporary architectural language. In this way, the symbolic world of the past meets the needs of the contemporary individual: slowing down, purification, self-awareness and the restoration of inner balance.
The project approaches architecture not merely as a physical structure, but as a spatial and temporal ritual capable of transforming the individual.
